Installation Instructions
Step 1 – Assemble bracket to pod
Install the supplied nuts into the pod housing with the nylon facing inward. Attach the bracket to the pod using the supplied screws and washers. Make sure the bracket is in the correct orientation (see diagrams in the official guide).
Tighten the screws so the pod retains its position but can still pivot with force for aiming.

Step 2 – Remove fog light bezel
Remove the fog light bezel from the bumper by applying pressure on the tabs holding it in place. Pull toward the front of the vehicle to remove.
Step 3 – Remove factory fog light housing
Pinch the three retainer clips while pulling the lamp toward the front of the vehicle. The retainer clips will be reused.
Step 4 – Reinstall factory bezel
Reinstall the factory fog light bezel by aligning the tabs and clipping it back into the bumper.
Step 5 – Transfer retainer clips
Remove the retainer clips from the factory fog light housing. Pry them gently off and install them onto your new SS3 mounting bracket.
Step 6 – Install SS3 pod
Install your new SS3 pod by pushing it directly into place. Be sure all three retainer clips seat fully and are aligned correctly.
Step 7 – Connect wiring
Plug the SS3 into the factory fog light harness using the included DT wire adapter. Test function. If the light does not turn on, try flipping the connector 180°.
If equipped with backlight functionality, connect the backlight power wire to a fused 12V source to trigger the accent feature. The most common method is tapping into a parking light or sidemarker circuit. T-taps are included for this purpose.
NOTE: Power source must be fused. Do not connect directly to the vehicle battery.
Step 8 – Repeat on opposite side
Repeat Steps 1–7 on the other side of the vehicle.
Step 9 – Install snap-on covers (optional)
If desired, install the included snap-on cover onto your SS3 by snapping it onto the front bezel of the pod.
Two different styles are included — one designed for GM models and one for Chevy models. Select the appropriate cover for your vehicle application. One set will not be used.

Aiming Instructions
Step 10 – Position vehicle
Park your vehicle 25 feet away from a wall or garage door on a level surface.

Step 11 – Loosen adjustment bolts
Loosen the 5/32” Allen bolts on each side of your SS3 pod just enough to allow adjustment.

Step 12 – Measure mounting height
Measure the distance between the ground and the center of your SS3 pod. Mark this height on the wall using tape.

Step 13 – Create cutoff line
Add another piece of tape four inches below the mounting height. This is your fog light cutoff line.

Step 14 – Aim the pods
Aim your SS3 pods so that the top of the beam pattern aligns with the cutoff line mark.

Step 15 – Tighten hardware
Tighten the 5/32” Allen bolts to complete the installation. Do not overtighten or use power tools.
