This guide walks through the installation process for the front LED sidemarkers on both the 2018–2026 Jeep JL Wrangler and 2020–2026 Jeep JT Gladiator. Installation steps are identical for both platforms.

Installation Instructions

Step 1 – Remove the fender liner clips

Inside the wheel well, remove the two plastic tree clips securing the fender liner using a trim removal tool. If necessary, start removal with the trim tool and finish with needle-nose pliers.

Step 2 – Access the sidemarker

Pull back the fender liner to gain access to the factory sidemarker.

Step 3 – Disconnect factory wiring

Disconnect the factory sidemarker wiring harness. If needed, use a small pick or flat tool to gently separate the connector.

Step 4 – Remove the factory sidemarker

Using a T30 Torx bit, remove the bolt securing the factory sidemarker. Carefully pull the sidemarker straight out of the fender.

Step 5 – Install the new LED sidemarker

Install the Diode Dynamics LED sidemarker into the factory location. Secure it using the original T30 bolt, then reconnect the wiring harness.

Step 6 – Test and reassemble

Test the LED sidemarker for proper operation. Once confirmed, reposition the fender liner and reinstall the two tree clips. Repeat Steps 1–6 on the opposite side of the vehicle.
