Installation Instructions

Step 1 — Remove the driver-side hinge screws

Using a 10mm socket, remove the two screws from the driver-side hardtop hinge. Set the factory screws aside, as they will be reused in the next steps.

Step 2 — Install the driver-side mounting bracket

Slide the driver-side mounting bracket between the hardtop and the factory hinge. Align the bracket with the factory mounting holes so the bracket sits flush against the hinge area.

Step 3 — Secure the driver-side bracket

Reinstall the factory screws removed in Step 1, then tighten them with a 10mm socket to secure the driver-side mounting bracket in place.

Step 4 — Install the passenger-side bracket

Repeat Steps 1-3 on the passenger-side hardtop hinge. Remove the factory screws, position the passenger-side mounting bracket between the hardtop and hinge, then reinstall and tighten the factory screws.

Step 5 — Position the light bar

Place the SS30 LED light bar across the rear hardtop. Make sure the wire pigtail is oriented toward the driver side for proper harness routing.

Step 6 — Secure the light bar

Using a 10mm socket, secure the light bar to both mounting brackets using the lower mounting hole on the light bar. Confirm that the light bar is centered and properly seated on both brackets before fully tightening the hardware.

Step 7 — Install the adhesive zip tie mounts

Place the adhesive zip tie mounts along the inner rain channel to create a clean routing path for the light bar harness. Make sure each mounting surface is clean and dry before pressing the mounts into place.

Step 8 — Secure the light bar harness

Route the light bar harness along the adhesive mounts, then use zip ties to secure the harness in place. Once secured, trim the excess zip tie ends with snips.

Step 9 — Route and connect the extension harness

Connect the 3-meter extension harness to the light bar harness, route it through the vehicle, and connect it to the relay harness. Make sure all wiring is secured away from sharp edges, pinch points, and moving components.
