Installation Instructions
Step 1 - Install the Roller Mounts
Begin by sliding the roller mount over the roll cage. Install the block on the ring by pinching both sides of the ring onto the block.
While pinching, run the included bolt and washer through the near side, continuing to pinch as you push the bolt all the way through.
Place the washer and locking nut on the end of the bolt, align the block at the center of the roller, and use a 5mm Allen key and a 10mm wrench to tighten the mount securely.
Next, attach the ditch light bracket to the block using the included 13mm bolts and washers. Tighten the bracket with a 13mm wrench. Use a level to adjust the roller mount to ensure proper alignment before continuing. Repeat this process for the driver’s side.
Step 2 - Assemble the LED Pods
Assemble the Stage Series LED Pods using the included universal brackets and hardware. Leave the mounting hardware hand-tight to allow for adjustments later.
Place the pod onto the ditch light platform and attach it using the included mounting hardware. Tighten securely with a 13mm wrench. Repeat this process for the driver’s side.

Step 3 - Prepare the Vehicle Interior
Inside the vehicle, disconnect the passenger seat belt harness by pulling the loop end through and out.
Adjust the seat forward and use an 18mm ratchet to remove the two gold locking nuts from behind the seat.
Adjust the seat all the way back and remove the two front mounting bolts using a 13mm wrench and ratchet. Once removed, lift the seat out and set it aside.
Remove the access panel along the passenger-side console by gently pulling it away from the retention tabs, starting at the left corner.
Repeat for the forwardmost panel to access the battery.
Step 4 - Connect the Wiring Harness
Use a 10mm socket to disconnect the positive lead from the battery and secure it away from the terminal. Peel back the rubber cover on the bus bar and use a 10mm ratchet to loosen the positive and negative connections.
Attach the positive and negative leads from the ditch light harness to the bus bar, tighten them securely, and reattach the rubber cover.
Route the toggle switch and DT connectors to their desired locations, avoiding the drive shaft and any moving parts.
Install Rectangular Rocker Switch (Optional)
If desired, the included wiring harness can be controlled using the Diode Dynamics Rectangular Rocker Switch. To install the switch, disconnect the factory harness switch by unplugging it from the white connector on the switch lead. Connect the rectangular rocker switch directly to this connector.
Route the switch wiring to your preferred mounting location and remove the factory switch blank from the dashboard or switch panel. Insert the rocker switch into the opening until it is fully seated.
The rocker switch features integrated backlighting and must be grounded for illumination. Attach the black wire with the ring terminal to a suitable chassis ground point on the vehicle.
Step 5 - Route and Connect the DT Harness
On the driver’s side, remove two push clips using a trim removal tool and seven Torx screws using a T30 Torx bit.
Lift the panel slightly and use wire fishing tape to route the DT connector to the driver’s side floorboard.
Tape the DT connector to the wire and pull it to the top of the dash. Remove the tape, route the wiring behind the dash, and plug the DT connector into the pod.
On the passenger side, remove two push clips using a trim removal tool and four Torx screws with a T30 Torx bit.
Lift the gas tank access panel and remove the final mounting screw using a T30 Torx bit and a 10mm socket.
Route the DT connector toward the A-pillar using wire fishing tape, plug it into the pod, and secure the panel.
Step 6 - Test and Finalize Installation
Reconnect the positive battery lead and test the functionality of the pods. Ensure the toggle switch operates correctly and the pods illuminate as expected. Adjust the aim of the pods to your desired position and tighten the mounting hardware securely.
Secure any loose wiring with zip ties and reassemble the vehicle by reversing the disassembly steps.

SS5 Backlight Color Programming
The following programming instructions apply only to A-pillar kits equipped with SS5 LED Pods. SS5 LED Pods offer multiple backlight color options, including White (default), Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow, Amber, and Teal.
- Start with all backlight power OFF.
- Cycle backlight power ON and OFF three times within three seconds, spacing each ON press about one second apart.
- After the third cycle, the backlight will enter programming mode.
- Continue cycling power at the same steady pace to scroll through the available colors.
- When the desired color is displayed, leave the backlight ON.
- After five seconds, the color will save automatically and exit programming mode.
- Turn power OFF.
The selected color will appear any time backlight power is applied during normal operation.
SS5 Backlight Color Reset
The following reset procedure applies only to A-pillar kits equipped with SS5 LED Pods. If the SS5 LED Pods become unsynchronized, perform the following reset procedure.
- Enter backlight programming mode by cycling power ON and OFF three times, using the same one-second timing.
- Continue cycling power through all available colors twice. This requires at least sixteen total power cycles.
- After all colors have displayed twice, the SS5 LED Pods will reset to White.
- Leave the backlight ON for five seconds to save the reset.
- Program the desired backlight color as outlined above if needed.
