Elite LED Fog Lights for the 2021-2023 Ford F-150 were designed for maximum performance and functionality. They include programmable daytime running lights, turn signals, and a welcome sequence. When connected to Elite Max LED Headlights, the fog lights also feature an integrated show mode.
This programming guide provides instructions for programming Elite LED Fog Lights when they are operated independently on the 2021-2023 Ford F-150. Read the Programming Tips before beginning, then continue below for step-by-step instructions!
Note: These instructions should only be used when the fog lights are operated independently. When the fog lights are connected directly to Elite LED Headlights through the communication wires, all applicable headlight programming is automatically applied to the fog lights. Programming Tips
- Parking in front of a window or reflective wall makes it easier to see the programming feedback from the fog lights.
- Each programming mode follows a similar process. After completing one or two settings, the method should become familiar.
- Always begin with the vehicle off and the fog-light switch in the OFF position.
- Each programming mode requires the fog lights to be toggled off and back on a specific number of times. If you lose count, switch the fog lights off, wait 10 seconds, and start again.

DRL Color Programming
Step 1 — Turn the hazard lights on and back off so they flash only once.
Step 2 — Immediately toggle the fog lights on and back off three times.
Step 3 — Turn the hazard lights on and back off again so they flash only once.
Step 4 — The fog-light DRL will flash three times in the selected color and save the selection. To select a different color, repeat this process.
Turn Signal Style Programming
Step 1 — Turn the hazard lights on and back off so they flash only once.
Step 2 — Immediately toggle the fog lights on and back off four times.
Step 3 — Turn the hazard lights on and back off again so they flash only once.
Step 4 — The fog-light DRL will flash four times and save the selected turn-signal style. To select a different style, repeat this process.
Welcome Sequence Programming
Step 1 — Turn the hazard lights on and back off so they flash only once.
Step 2 — Immediately toggle the fog lights on and back off five times.
Step 3 — Turn the hazard lights on and back off again so they flash only once.
Step 4 — The fog-light DRL will flash five times and save the selected welcome-sequence setting. To change the setting again, repeat this process.
Welcome Sequence Operation: If the truck has been off long enough to enter sleep mode, pressing Unlock by itself may not activate the welcome sequence. Press Lock and then Unlock to wake the truck and trigger the sequence. Once the truck is awake, the welcome sequence will activate each time the Unlock button on the key fob is pressed.
Factory Reset
If you experience unexpected behavior with the fog-light functions or settings, complete the factory reset sequence and then reprogram the fog lights as desired.
Step 1 — Turn the hazard lights on and back off so they flash only once.
Step 2 — Immediately toggle the fog lights on and back off fifteen times.
Step 3 — Turn the hazard lights on and back off again so they flash only once.
Step 4 — The DRL will flash white and then amber to indicate a successful factory reset. You can then complete any desired programming procedures again.
