Installation Instructions
Step 1 – Assemble bracket to pod
Install the supplied nuts into the pod housing with the nylon facing inward. Attach the bracket to the pod using the supplied screws and washers. Ensure the bracket is in the correct orientation (TOP and BOTTOM as shown in the guide).
Tighten the screws so the pod retains its position but can pivot with force for aiming.

Step 2 – Remove splash guard
Using a trim removal tool, remove the eight push rivets along the front of the splash guard. We recommend prying on both accessible sides of the push rivets at the same time due to their large size.
Remove the splash guard using an 8mm socket and ratchet to remove the two bolts on the bottom.

Step 3 – Remove fog light covers
Remove the plastic fog light covers using a 7mm socket and ratchet to remove the seven screws shown in the guide.

Step 4 – Remove factory fog light assembly
Use a T20 Torx driver to remove the three factory screws. We recommend using hand tools to reduce the chance of thread stripping or heating of the plastic that may occur with power tools. These screws will be reused.

Step 5 – Install SS3 bracket and pod
Using the three original Torx screws, install the SS3 and bracket onto the vehicle. Ensure the lamps are oriented such that the DT connector is on the bottom of the lamp and the SAE markings are readable when installed.
Step 6 – Connect wiring
Plug the SS3 into the factory fog light harness using the included DT wire adapter. Test function. If the light does not turn on, try flipping the connector 180°.
Connect the backlight power wire to a fused 12V source to trigger the backlight feature (commonly parking light or sidemarker circuit). T-Taps are included for this purpose.
NOTE: Power source must be fused. Do not connect directly to vehicle battery.
Step 7 – Repeat on opposite side
Repeat the steps on the other side of the vehicle.
Step 8 – Reinstall splash guard and covers
Reinstall the fog light covers and splash guard to complete the installation.
Aiming Instructions
Step 9 – Position vehicle
Park your vehicle 25 feet away from a wall or garage door on a level surface.

Step 10 – Loosen adjustment bolts
Loosen the 5/32” Allen bolts on each side of your SS3 pod just enough to allow adjustment.

Step 11 – Measure mounting height
Measure the distance between the ground and the center of your SS3 pod. This is your mounting height.

Step 12 – Mark cutoff line
Mark the mounting height on the wall using tape. Add another piece of tape four inches below the mounting height. This is your fog light cutoff line.

Step 13 – Aim the pods
Aim your SS3 pods so that the top of the beam pattern is on the cutoff line mark.

Step 14 – Tighten hardware
Tighten the 5/32” Allen bolts. Do not overtighten or use power tools to torque them down.
