What Makes Elite Series the Best Jeep Wrangler LED Headlights?
To start, they are the only aftermarket 9-inch LED headlights that are 100% engineered and assembled in the USA. Just like the beloved Jeeps they are designed for, the Elite Series LED Headlights are available in more than one model:

Bi-LED Projector for Low and High Beam Output
The Elite Series Headlights truly shine by delivering a higher light output intensity than both the factory 2018+ Jeep JL LED lights and the halogen headlight option!
These headlights feature a modern-looking, rectangular Bi-LED projector. This is what provides full LED illumination for both the low and high-beam functions.
The beam pattern has a sharp cutoff with vibrant center intensity and a strong width for illuminating the sides of the roads, giving an optimal nighttime driving experience.
The same powerful projector is utilized in the Elite and Elite Max models, meaning your Jeep Wrangler LED headlights will shine light far down the road, and trail, no matter which model you choose.
Selectable Daytime Running Lights (DRLs)
When it comes to Jeep Wrangler JL Headlights, you’ve got to go with the classic halo styling and that’s what we’ve done with the Elite Series Headlights.
The halo DRL incorporates a high-density LED design, so all you see is a smooth, continuous halo and never individual LED chips.
On the Elite Max model, we’ve included additional DRL bars to enhance the styling of these 2018+ Jeep JL LED Lights (but we’ll cover that more later in the article).
Offering a DRL isn’t anything new in a headlight, but the Elite Series Headlights offer a selectable feature that makes them the best Jeep Wrangler JL Headlights.
With these headlights, you can easily switch from white LEDs to amber LEDs on the fly. No need to get out and mess with any wires or switches under the hood.
With our patent pending programming method, all you have to do is flip your high beams a couple of times to switch from white to the amber coloring of the DRLs.
On the Elite Max model, simply toggle the high beams a few more times to enable the additional DRL bars and select their color.
This gives you maximum color selectability with minimal effort!
Additional Switchback Turn Signal
Factory Jeep Wrangler LED Headlights, and their halogen counterparts, don’t have integrated turn signals. That’s because the turn signals are housed separately in the front fenders of the vehicle.
We took the time to put an additional switchback turn signal feature in the actual headlight housing assembly.
The Elite Series Headlights will flash amber when the turn signal is activated. As soon as your lane change or turn is complete, they switch back to the white parking light (or stay amber if that’s the color you’ve chosen on your selectable DRL).
NOTE: Unlike the Elite Max, the switchback turn signal in the Elite model is not SAE compliant as an independent turn signal.
This is a great way to enhance the existing turn signal and better communicate with other motorists about your intended turn or lane change.
Modern Welcome Sequence
The Elite Series Headlight is packed with the latest LED technology. Every time you unlock your Jeep JL Wrangler, a modern welcome sequence will show off the capabilities of your Diode Dynamics Elite Series Headlights with a smooth, gradual illumination of the LEDs.
This is helpful for just a little extra lighting as you get in your Jeep, while clearly displaying the advanced features of the Elite Series Headlights.
Of course, this feature is fully programable and can be disabled if you choose.
What Makes the Elite Max Model Stand Out?
The Elite Max model has all of the features listed above, but it takes things to the Max with some impressive features all its own.
Inner DRL Bars
In addition to the HD halo DRL on the Elite model, the Elite Max models include vertical DRL bars on either side of the Bi-LED projector.
These really enhance the overall daytime visibility of the lights and make the Elite Series Max Headlights stand out from the rest of the pack.
Just like the Elite model, the Elite Max has selectable DRL from white LED to amber LEDs on the fly. No need to get out of the driver's seat to make the switch. Just toggle your high beams a few times, and the change is complete.

SAE-Compliant Turn Signal (Perfect for Fender Chop)
We’ve mentioned that the Elite Series Headlights have an additional switchback turn signal, but the Elite Max model takes it a step further.
By utilizing the Switchback Turn Signal Halo in conjunction with the Inner DRL Bars, the Elite Max Jeep Wrangler LED Headlights provide enough additional lighting to be a fully functional SAE-Compliant turn signal all on its own.
This means that the turn signal feature is fully encompassed within the headlight and no additional turn signal from the fender is necessary.
Fans of the fender chop… you’ll no longer have to worry about replacing the turn signal feature on the fender. This gives you the freedom to modify the fender however you like, and still have a full SAE-compliant turn signal.
This is a key benefit that cements the Elite Series Max Headlights as the best Jeep Wrangler JL Headlights.
Optional Show mode
As if the Welcome Sequence wasn’t enough, the Elite Max Jeep Wrangler LED Headlights come with a patent-pending Show Mode. Whether you’re parked at a show or just want to be seen, you can activate the show mode at any time you’re stopped.

Of course, there is no need for any extra controllers to utilize the Show Mode feature. Simply toggle the off-road switch to quickly start the show mode from inside the cabin of your Jeep!

This exciting, new feature enables these 2018+ Jeep JL LED lights to transition from normal road lighting to off-road visibility with just a simple flip of a switch.
With the same LED emitters found in our popular Stage Series Off-Road products, the top and bottom reflectors of the headlight shine extra light in a wide beam, to powerfully illuminate the trail ahead.
The high-power LEDs stay cool thanks to custom-designed heat sinks that are integrated into the headlight assembly so you don’t lose any light output to overheating. This ensures optimal and continuously bright illumination so you can roam off-road with confidence.
An extra switch is included to activate the Trail Lights, but they can also be connected to a factory auxiliary switch if equipped with your Jeep model.

Plug-and-Play LED Headlights for Jeep Wrangler
One of the major benefits that make the Elite Series Headlights the best Jeep Wrangler LED Headlights is that they were designed to be a direct replacement for the factory headlights. It doesn’t matter if they are 2018+ Jeep JL LED lights or halogens.
The Elite Series Headlights fit all trim levels of Jeep Wrangler JL Headlights. Simply remove the factory assembly and these bolt right in their place.
A plug-and-play wire harness is included to hook the headlights up to the factory connector and also add the turn signal connector! No wire cutting or splicing is required!
NOTE: Owners of Wrangler Sport models will need to utilize a simple add-a-fuse (which is included) to take advantage of the DRL function of the Elite Series LED Headlights.
