Perfect Fitment

The SS5 Stealth Grille LED Pod Kit for the 2014-2023 Toyota 4Runner allows you to mount two or four SS5 LED pods behind the factory grille without interfering with the Toyota Safety Sense! 

This kit uses application-specific brackets that were CAD-designed by our engineers to bolt into place using existing mounting points on the factory bumper. No cutting or drilling is required!

While other 4Runner off-road lights on the market may require you to make irreversible changes to your 4Runner, this light pod kit retains the factory grille for a clean, OEM-like appearance. 

Choose Your Look

The brackets included with the SS5 Stealth Grille LED Pod Kit were designed to be completely customizable. 

There are multiple mounting holes on the crossbar allowing you to mount two or four SS5 LED 4Runner light pods behind the grille and get the look you want.

The best part is this kit will not interfere with the Toyota Safety Sense sensor!

If you have a 2014-2019 Toyota 4Runner that is not equipped with Toyota Safety Sense, you have the option to mount an additional fifth 4Runner light pod in the center of the crossbar for even greater light output and an unmistakably unique look!

The mounting brackets also feature several pre-drilled holes allowing you to change the height of the crossbar and the LED Pod lights behind the grille of your Toyota 4Runner.  

Switch Controlled

A toggle switch adapter wire is included with the harness which allows you to mount a three-way switch.

For those with an OEM auxiliary switch bank, both options include an aux switch adapter wire that connects to the harness and allows you to control your 4Runner off-road lights using an aftermarket aux switch bank. Two switches will be used. One for the main beam, and the other one for the backlight.

White or Yellow Color Temperature

This kit is available in a cool white or selective yellow color. 

The white is a 6000K color temperature, which is a true cool white output and matches most factory LED lighting.

The selective yellow is a 3000K color temperature, great for high contrast in poor weather or a distinctive look on the road.

Selectable Backlight Color

The Backlight serves as an additional accent or running light when the powerful main beam of the SS5 Pod Kit isn’t being used.

This available color variety makes the SS5 Stealth Grille LED Pod Kit perfect for adding extra style to your 4Runner lighting, or for more visibility when you're not using the main beam.

The SS5 LED Pod's backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, providing a noticeably unique accent light that you won't find on other 4Runner light pods.  

Changing your backlight color couldn’t be easier! All you need to do is simply toggle the power on and off until you get the desired backlight color. There’s no complicated programming with a controller!

NOTE: Due to the yellow lens, the yellow kit is only available with an amber backlight color.

Functional Light Output

Stage Series LED 4Runner light pods feature two beam pattern options that were designed with advanced optical simulation modeling in order to shape the output light into highly-functional beam patterns with high efficiency.

Driving 

The driving pattern is great for general illumination at traveling speed.

Rather than a traditional "spot" pattern, the Stage Series Driving pattern shines in a 30x20 degree spread, providing just enough width to fully illuminate the road ahead at high speeds, but still staying focused to avoid too much foreground light. 

Although the SS5 Driving beam is too bright to be considered an SAE Auxiliary High Beam, it is perfect for seeing far down the trail at night.

Combo 

The combination pattern combines both the Driving and Flood optics, perfect for all-around use. It shines light downrange in a focused 30x20-degree driving beam to punch with distance and fills in the surrounding area to create a full 70x30-degree pattern.

Each SS5 pod features a row of driving optics in the middle and a flood optic on the top and bottom. This has been designed to provide extra light for every situation.

Sport or Pro Power Levels

These 4Runner off-road lights are available at two different power levels. 

Sport

The Sport power level model uses nine high-intensity LEDs for 40W of total power and delivers a significant amount of measured light output of 3,800 lumens!

Pro

The Pro power level model also uses nine high-intensity LEDs but steps things up in a big way, with double the total power at 90W. 

This allows the 4Runner Off-Road lights to achieve 9,600 lumens of measured light output at an intensity of 170,000 Candela!
