Thank you for your purchase of this unique product for your Chevrolet Silverado! With the Switchback and Amber DRL LED Board for the 2016-2018 Chevrolet Silverado, you will be able to add a brilliant amber turn signal, along with either an amber or white daytime running light. They are a direct replacement for the factory LED panels inside the light.

Installation Instructions
Step 1 - Remove Screws.
With the headlamp open and lens removed, remove the six T20 screws holding the DRL and turn signal reflectors in place.
Step 2 - Remove DRL Reflector Housing.
Remove the turn signal reflector and set it aside. Next, remove the DRL reflector housing the factory LED boards and disconnect it from the rest of the headlamp housing. Set the housing aside, you will now only be working with the reflector assembly.
Step 3 - Remove Factory LED Boards.
Remove the four screws holding the factory LED boards in place. Then remove the factory boards.
Step 4 - Install New LED Boards.
Place your new Diode Dynamics LED boards into position. All holes should align perfectly. Replace the original screws to secure the boards to the reflector.
NOTE: The third board will not be replaced.
Step 5 - Connect LED Boards.
Using the included wiring harness, connect the harness to the boards. It doesn’t matter which connector gets connected to each board.
Step 6 - Reinstall Reflectors.
Using the alignment holes, reinstall the DRL reflector into the headlamp and replace the top two original screws. Then reinstall the turn signal reflector back into the headlamp and replace the last four screws.
Step 7 - Route Wires.
Run the wiring harness outside of the headlamp, sealing any holes that you may create, and repeat for the other headlamp.

Step 8 - Connect Driver.
First, connect the board to the Switchback driver. Then connect the driver to the pigtail.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT plug the LED panel directly into the pigtail without the driver. The LED boards must be plugged into the driver first to control the power.
Finally, tap the pigtail wires to the factory wiring harness. See the Wiring Method Diagram below.
Note: The black wire must be grounded before any function will work.
Step 9 - Mount Driver.
Mount the driver and tuck all wires. Driver should be mounted outside of headlight for serviceability, in a location away from the engine block to avoid excessive heat buildup.
Step 10 - Reinstall Headlight.
Test thoroughly and reinstall headlights onto the vehicle.
