What’s New?
The HitchMount now includes an adapter sleeve for 2.5” hitches, opening it up to more full-size trucks and commercial vehicles. We’ve also improved the output of the premium C1R model, now offering a 68% boost in reverse light brightness over the previous version—delivering over 1,000 lumens of pure white light.
SSC1 vs. C1R
Both models include a bright red running light and a powerful reverse light. The upgraded C1R adds a fourth brake light function with our optional SafetyStrobe feature for even more rear-end visibility and safety.
Easy Installation
Plug-and-play installation takes just minutes. The pod mounts directly into your trailer hitch and connects to your 7-pin trailer harness. No wiring. No extra switches. A DT connector cover is now included to keep your plug protected when the pod is removed for towing.
The pod locks securely into place with a snap-fit design, and you can add an optional locking hitch pin for extra security. To remove it, just press the tabs and pull it out—simple as that.
Advanced Vehicle Compatibility
To ensure compatibility with modern vehicles, we include an optional red wire that can be tapped into your factory brake light signal. This prevents false trailer warnings and dash alerts on trucks with trailer detection systems.
