Diode Dynamics was thrilled to attend UTV Takeover 2023 in Coos Bay, Oregon. From June 21-25, UTV riders of all skill levels were able to compete, network, show off their builds, and learn about new products to enhance their UTV experience. It's no surprise that the event is a fan favorite among the UTV community.
"The organizers of UTV Takeover killed it in Oregon!" said Craig Carroll, Sponsorship and Event Manager at Diode Dynamics. "This year attracted nearly double the attendees! This was shown in the Diode Dynamics Huckfest competition where UTVs flew through the air!"
UTV Takeover certainly proved to be a memorable experience for all who attended. From the picturesque seaside scenery of the Boxcar Hill Campground to the 30+ family-friendly activities to enjoy, there was something for everyone. There were group rides and races, but the most exciting competition event was Huckfest. Diode Dynamics Huckfest
This year, Diode Dynamics was proud to sponsor Huckfest, an exhilarating activity during UTV Takeover that has been dubbed the ultimate spectacle for spectators.
At this event, competitors dared to see who could launch their UTVs the farthest across the sandy dunes. To level the playing field, all competitors launched from the same dedicated jump point provided by Diode Dynamics.
Clinton Bybee, of Whiskey Throttle School District, was this year's Huckfest champion. Clinton thrilled the crowd by launching his UTV over 100 feet through the air!
Stage Series LED Off-Road Lights at UTV Takeover
In between the exciting competitions, enthusiasts of all types were out and about taking in the sites offered by the beautiful dunes of the Oregon coastline. Others were happy showing off their UTV modifications and LED Lighting upgrades. We spotted a few utilizing Stage Series LED Off-Road lights to enhance their rides!
This Polaris RZR was upgraded with a custom Shredder-esque front end that is highlighted by two SS5 LED Pod Lights. Even though it's daylight, you can see the red and amber backlight colors on these LED Pods!
This Polaris RZR took lighting upgrades seriously by adding three SS5 LED Off-Road Light Pods beneath the aftermarket bull bar. It's a great way to add a huge punch of off-road lighting to the aggressive stance of the RZR. They didn't stop there, though.
They also mounted two SSC2 LED Pod Lights on the A-Pillars, and a Stage Series 30" LED Light Bar above the windshield to take their nighttime ride visibility to the next level.
While checking out all of the UTVs with impressive modifications, we spotted this rig that made a big LED lighting upgrade. It has a roof-mounted SS5 CrossLink 6-Pod LED Light Bar that adds a substantial amount of powerful off-road lighting to their night rides!
The night rides at UTV Takeover have always been a huge hit, and this year was no different. The parade of UTVs put their LEDs on full display as they tore up the dunes after sunset.
It was great to take part in the night ride, and it's just one more reason why UTV Takeover draws in such a large and enthusiastic crowd.

UTV Takeover in Coos Bay, Oregon was a great opportunity to be a part of the growing UTV community. It was entertaining to watch daredevils launch through the air and to see how enthusiasts adapt our Stage Series LED off-road lights to add custom style and functionality to their UTVs.
