Mounting Instructions

Step 1 - Remove Leveling Screw.

Reach up from underneath the front bumper and locate the factory fog light housing behind the front air dam. Then, using a long flat-head screwdriver, remove the leveling screw by turning counterclockwise. Take caution that the spring will fall free when the screw is removed.

Step 3 - Disconnect Bulb.

Disconnect the factory bulb from the harness by slightly prying the two prongs up and away from the retaining clip.

Step 4 - Remove Fog Light Assembly.

The factory foglight assembly is only held into the bezel by plastic retaining clamps on both the left and right sides.

Using a plastic pry tool, work both sides of the assembly from the front until free, or use a 90° Hook Pick from behind to pry the plastic clamps away from the fog light assembly.

Then, pull the assembly away from the vehicle.

Step 5 - Transfer Nut.

Transfer the plastic adjusting nut from the factory assembly to the Elite Series assembly.

Step 6 - Install Elite Series Fog Light.

Once the factory assembly is removed, you may insert the Elite Series assembly, making sure both the right and left side retaining clamps snap firmly into place.

Step 7 - Connect Harness.

Using the supplied wire harness, plug the gray 4-pin Deutsch connector into the back of the Elite Series assembly. Then, plug the black 9006 2-pin connector into the vehicle’s factory harness.

Step 8 - Reinstall Leveling Screw.

Reinstall the factory leveling screw and spring. Make sure that the spring is properly located between the tab protruding from the factory housing and the tab from the Elite Series assembly.

Step 9 - Test Function.

Test the functionality by turning on the vehicle’s fog lights. If the lights don't illuminate, unplug the black 9006 connectors, flip them 180°, and reconnect them.

Step 10 - Connect Backlight Wire.

For backlight operation, connect the backlight power wire to a fused 12V source, such as your DRL or side marker, using the included T-Taps. Check local laws and regulations for on-road use of the backlight feature.

NOTE: The power source must be fused. Do not connect directly to the vehicle's battery.

Step 11 - Install Opposite Side.

Repeat steps 1-10 of the installation on the opposite side of the vehicle to install the remaining fog light.

Aiming Instructions

To learn how to aim your installed fog lights, check out the video below, or keep reading for step-by-step instructions.

Step 1 - Position Vehicle.

Park your vehicle 25 feet away from a wall or garage door on a level surface.

Step 2 - Find Mounting Height.

On your vehicle, measure the distance between the ground and the center of your fog lamp. This is your mounting height.

Step 3 - Mark Mounting Height.

Mark the mounting height on the wall or garage door using tape.

Step 4 - Mark Cut-Off Line.

Add another piece of tape four inches below the mounting height. This is your fog cut-off line.

Step 5 - Aim Fog Lights.

Using the integrated adjustment screw, aim the fog lights on each side of the vehicle so that the top of the beam pattern is on the cutoff line mark.
