Overview

Already running a Kuat DEK roof rack? The Diode DEK Upgrade Kit makes it easy to add integrated Stage Series lighting. This kit converts your non-lit DEK to accept either an SS5 CrossLink lightbar or a Stage Series LED lightbar.

Choose Your Lighting Setup. The Diode DEK Upgrade Kit is available in two lighting configurations: the SS5 CrossLink LED lightbar or a Stage Series LED lightbar. The SS5 CrossLink LED lightbar links seven or eight SS5 LED pods together into a single lightbar for a bold, aggressive appearance. Depending on your rack size, you can select either an SS40 or SS50 Stage Series LED lightbar for a cleaner, low-profile look.

Functional Light Output. Each beam pattern has been engineered for real-world conditions to deliver usable light output where you need it most.

The Stage Series LED lightbars feature our all-new Combo/Driving pattern, designed to blend distance and width into one balanced beam pattern. Unlike other options on the market that combine two patterns, resulting in a less-than-desirable harsh hotspot and a flood or wide pattern with unwanted glare and wasted light, our new Combo/Driving optic uses dozens of carefully-designed pillow optics to produce a blended, even output that measures 60x30 degrees, providing throw downrange with ample foreground illumination.

The SS5 CrossLink LED lightbars feature our Driving pattern, which provides extra punch and distance ahead, without being a tight spot pattern. The Driving pattern is a slightly broad-spot that balances reach and width with a spread of 30x20 degrees.

Fully Illuminated Backlight. Each LED Light Bar option includes a backlight that fully illuminates the TIR optic when you’re not using the main beam, providing unique accent lighting that you won't find on other LED light bars.

The White Stage Series option features an amber-only backlight with no startup sequence. It provides a unique look and increased visibility to others when stopped on the trail.

The Dual-Color Stage Series and SS5 CrossLink options feature a selectable multicolor backlight in your choice of eight colors. The Dual-Color Stage Series lightbar features a brilliant amber backlight on the outer segments, with the selectable multicolor backlight on the inner segments. The Dual-Color Stage Series option also unlocks a dynamic startup sequence.

Selecting your CrossLink or SmartSelect backlight color is easy - simply cycle the power on and off. There’s no complicated programming with a controller!

Choose Your Color. Stage Series lightbar options are available in White or Dual-Color configurations. The white is a 6000K color temperature, which is a true cool white output, and matches most factory LED lighting. The Dual-Color option features cool white inner segments with selective yellow outer segments.

Thanks to SmartSelect technology, the Dual-Color option allows you to run the inner segment only, outer segments only, or the full bar. Unlike other brands that require extra wiring or separate switches, this patented technology is programmed directly into the light bar. Simply cycle the main beam power a few times to toggle to the option you want.

Sport or Pro. Each lighting option is available in two different power levels. Both options use high-intensity, automotive-grade LED emitters and TIR optics for unmatched focus and output. The Sport model offers the best bang for your buck, while the Pro model takes things a step further with a noticeable boost in power and light output.

Proven Reliability. Stage Series LED lighting has been extensively tested for long-term operation from -40 to 185 degrees F, along with vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. All of these tests are completed to SAE standards, just like factory components. They've also been put to the test on-road by racers and enthusiasts alike.
