As our company continues to grow, it has become more important to define our core values which effect our brand, culture and business strategies. Here are the ten core values that we live by:
1. Deliver Exceptional Service
To deliver exceptional service, we must differentiate ourselves, which can mean doing things a little unconventional and innovative. We have to go above and beyond what's expected. We are not an average company, we do not have average employees, and our customer service is not average.
Whether internally with co-workers or externally with our customers and partners, we are delivering exceptional results. Our philosophy at Diode Dynamics s is to wow our customers with service and knowledge, so that they tell others about their experience with our company. We always seek to go above and beyond for our customers, our co-workers, our suppliers, our partners, and our investors with exceptional service and innovation.
2. Embrace Change
For some, the constant change of our business can be somewhat unsettling at first. If you are not prepared to deal with constant change, then you probably are not a good fit for the company. We must all learn not fear change, but instead to embrace it passionately. At Diode Dynamics we encourage and drive for change constantly, always prepared for it to happen at any moment.
It is extremely important for many of the changes we make to be driven from the bottom up- from those employees who are on the front lines with the customers; although change can come from any area of the business. We strive to never accept or be too comfortable with the status quo, because historically, the companies that get into trouble are the ones that aren't able to respond quickly and adapt to changes.
We are continuously evolving. If we want to continue to stay ahead of our competition, we must continually keep them guessing about what we will do next. They can copy our strategies and products, but they cannot copy our service, our employees, or our culture. Our competitors will not be able to evolve as fast as we can, as long as we continue to make embracing change an integral part of our business.

We look for a little bit of fun in our daily work, which means that we might do things a bit unconventionally. By having the freedom to be creative in our solutions, we end up approaching situations with a more open mind. Our creativity sometimes make way for unconventional solutions, but that's what allows us to stay ahead of our competition.
5. Pursue Growth and Learning
We believe that it's important to constantly challenge and stretch yourself. Our goal is to help employees reach their full potential, but it has to be a joint effort: employees have to want to challenge and stretch themselves too.
No matter how long you've worked for Diode Dynamics, one thing is clear: we are constantly growing. We grow because we take on new challenges, and we face even more new challenges because we are growing. This creates an endless cycle which can feel risky, stressful, and confusing at times.
Sometimes, it may seem that new problems come up as fast as we solve the old ones, but that just means that we're getting better and stronger. Every problem we face means that we have grown as a company. No matter how much we grow, we'll always have to work hard because we will never "get it right".
This may come across as negative, but it's not: we'll do our best to "get it right," and then do it again after things have changed. Like it or not, that is the growth cycle, and the cycle won't ever stop. The only reason we are ahead of our competition, is because what we continue to grow, and we do it better than anyone else.
For our new employees, the best expertise they can bring is expertise at learning and adapting and figuring new things out -- helping the company grow. In the process, they will also be growing as individuals.
6. Build Positive Relationships through Communication
We value strong relationships in all areas: with managers, customers, suppliers, business partners, employees, and co-workers. Strong relationships that are open and honest, allow us to accomplish much more than we could otherwise. Our employees should always act with integrity, to be compassionate, friendly, loyal, and do the right thing to build relationships that have a strong foundation.
It's always important to be a good listener as well as a good communicator. Open, honest communication is the best foundation for any relationship, but it's not what you do or what you say to others, but how you make people feel that matters the most. In order for someone to feel good about a relationship, they must be confident that the other person truly cares about them, both personally and professionally.

While we may be casual in our interactions with each other, we are focused and serious about the operations of our business. We believe in working hard and putting in the extra effort to get things done.
We believe in operational excellence and realize that there is always room for improvement in everything we do. This means that our work is never done. In order to stay ahead of our competition, we need to continuously innovate and make improvements the way we operate. We are always striving to make ourselves more efficient, and always trying to figure out how we can do something better.
We must never lose our sense of urgency in making improvements. We must never settle for something that is "good enough" because good is the enemy of great. While our goal is to become a great company, we also want to make sure we deliver the best service around. The role of a manager is to remove obstacles, in order to better enable the members of their team to succeed. This means the best leaders are servant-leaders, those who serve the teams they lead.
The best team members take initiative when they notice issues and speak up, so that their team and the company can achieve success. They take ownership of issues and collaborate with other team members whenever challenges arise. The best team members have a positive influence on one another and everyone they encounter. They strive to eliminate negativity and instead create harmony within the workplace. They are confident in what they do, because we give them the confidence they need to be successful in their endeavors.
