The new Ford Explorer has a white LED accent in the headlights. It is illuminated by a circuit board that holds white LEDs. Our replacement LED boards utilize RGBW LEDs instead! The RGB function allows for full multicolor control using any standard RGB controller, to accent the look of your Explorer and make it stand out on the road.
This product is not just RGB though- it is RGBW! That means there is an LED chip that is specifically white in color, right next to the standard red, green, and blue chips. By using an RGBW controller rather than the standard RGB, you can activate and control the white chip independently of the colors. This provides a much more uniform, pure, and bright white color than the traditional method of combining all RGB signals, so you can keep a clean, factory white appearance for everyday driving.
You don't have to align and fasten LEDs by hand- this is an OEM-grade solution, with exact fitment, and perfect alignment of the new LEDs. Just remove the factory boards, and ours fit directly in place. Your order includes two LED boards, one for each side.
To drive the high-power LEDs safely, a new constant-current, waterproof, inductive driver is included for each set. You will also need a standard RGB or RGBW controller. Controllers can usually be powered by any standard 12V source. We recommend connecting to the parking light signal, so this module lights up when the parking lights or headlights are on. Remember, when you're not showing off, you can set the LEDs to pure white for everyday use.
Professional installation is strongly recommended, as the factory headlights must be opened in order to replace the LED panels. Wiring instructions are included to identify the wire colors required to power your controller.

If you're not happy with your items, we want to make it right. So we have some pretty awesome return policies:
30 day return policy. All customers have 30 days from the date of original order shipment to return items.
Full refund, no fees. At Diode Dynamics, we offer free returns. That means no restocking fees, no administrative fees, and no hassle!
Free return label. If your original order was over $50, you get a free return label for your items (US customers only). If your order was less than $50 or international, you can send the items back through your preferred method.
Within 30 days: If your original order was over $50, you can get new items shipped to you with a return label (US customers only). If your order was less than $50 or international, we can send you the new items first, but you are responsible for returning the old items.
Within 90 days: Any item can be returned for exchange or store credit within 90 days. The buyer is responsible for the cost of the return shipping, and must first return the old items. We'll still cover the postage for the new items.
Please note: due to the nature of custom acrylic pieces, we cannot offer any refund or exchange for returned custom acrylic items.
