Custom manufactured by Diode Dynamics in-house, LED acrylic accents are an excellent way to add a premium, modern look to your interior. They fit perfectly in the factory position, with LED edge-lit illumination, to create a ring of light along the border of your cupholder, door pull, or other interior spaces.
These are laser-engraved clear, thick acrylic: a hard synthetic plastic. The acrylic is constructed with a black, non-slip surface on top the clear acrylic, which is cut to fit into your vehicle perfectly. An LED is attached to the bottom of the piece to create and OEM-style, illuminated edge effect. Items are designed for vehicles with left side driving.
The LED Inserts are available in red, blue or RGB multicolor. If RGB Multicolor is selected, an RGB remote is required for power and proper function.
All acrylic accents have been tested at our facility, on your exact vehicle, for a perfect fit. Some pieces are intended to replace factory inserts, which should be removed before installation for a proper fitment. Others simply drop right in place.
LED Inserts must be installed into place and wired directly to your interior lighting, with 12V positive and negative wires. Instructions, wiring, and necessary connectors are included with your order.

i ordered the rgb version and it was a major pain to install, going thru the doors is hard work. i almost sent them back after looking at them but i am glad i went ahead and installed them. they compliment the cupholder inserts perfectly. (Posted on 8/11/15)

Installation can be accomplished with no prior electrical experience, with just a screwdriver, pliers, and electric drill:
1. Mount the accent piece.
Remove vehicle trim as necessary, to access mounting area for piece.
Position accent piece in place. If necessary, visualize where a small hole must be drilled to hide wire. Mark location, and drill hole.
Pull wire through, and fasten piece into position using included adhesive pad.
2. Connect the wires.
The power wire for the piece has a positive red wire, and a negative (ground) black wire.
Using the included T-tap connectors and a pair of pliers, splice the positive and negative wires to your factory interior illumination. You can use any wire running to a window switch, shifter light, button light, etc.
Test by turning on factory illumination (usually by turning on your lights), then reassemble trim.

30 day return policy. All customers have 30 days from the date of original order shipment to return items.
Full refund, no fees. At Diode Dynamics, we offer free returns. That means no restocking fees, no administrative fees, and no hassle!
Free return label. If your original order was over $50, you get a free return label for your items (US customers only). If your order was less than $50 or international, you can send the items back through your preferred method.
Within 30 days: If your original order was over $50, you can get new items shipped to you with a return label (US customers only). If your order was less than $50 or international, we can send you the new items first, but you are responsible for returning the old items.
Within 90 days: Any item can be returned for exchange or store credit within 90 days. The buyer is responsible for the cost of the return shipping, and must first return the old items. We'll still cover the postage for the new items.
Please note: due to the nature of custom acrylic pieces, we cannot offer any refund or exchange for returned custom acrylic items.
